Finally, what fixed the error was to allow *ALL* Canon applications (Canon Utilities EOS Utility - Version 2.14) to communicate through Windows Firewall: 'EOS Utility.exe', 'EOSUPNPSV.exe', 'EULauncher.exe', 'WFT FirewallSettings.exe'.
