Many of those other freeware pianos unfortunately are very amateur attempts, where people have just sampled a lousy internal preset piano patch from an old synth module or digital keyboard, capturing the audio through their computer's SoundBlaster soundcard, and edited a basic multisample together using SoundFont editor, (which is fine software nonetheless!)
